Rules

Market Dates

  • Market Period: From market publication until December 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET
  • Market Close: December 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET
  • Resolution Time: This market resolves after Market Close, or earlier if the outcome is determined

Yes/No Criteria

  • The market resolves to "Yes" if Tesla publicly launches a self-driving taxi service in California that:
    • Operates without a human driver actively controlling the vehicle
    • Is available to the general public
    • Launches before the market closing date
  • The market resolves to "No" if:
    • No service is launched by the closing date
    • The launched service requires human drivers
    • The service is limited to Tesla employees or a closed test group

Resolution

  • This market will resolve based on official Tesla announcements made on their website or through their official social accounts
  • Tesla's official blog will serve as the primary source of information, supplemented by verified Tesla communication channels if needed
  • If Tesla changes the name of the Robotaxi program but the nature of the service remains, and it fulfils the “Yes” criteria, this market will still resolve “Yes”

Cancellation Conditions

This market will be canceled if:

  • Tesla makes major changes to their Robotaxi program that fundamentally alter the nature of the service
  • Regulatory changes make it impossible to launch such a service in California
  • Resolution sources become unavailable or unreliable

If the market is canceled, participants can claim their stakes at the then-current market value of their shares, which could result in a profit or a loss depending on the price of those shares at cancellation.
