Rules
Market Dates:
- Market Period: From the publication date until September 24, 2025, at 10:00 PM ET.
- Market Close: September 24, 2025, at 10:00 PM ET, before the episode is scheduled to air.
- Resolution Time: The resolution will be determined after South Park has released Season 27, Episode 5.
Resolution Criteria:
Resolves “Yes” if any of the following occur within the episode content (including opening/closing credits and on-screen graphics):
- An explicit verbal or on-screen reference to “Myriad,” “Polymarket,” or “Kalshi.”
- An explicit verbal or on-screen reference to the real-world surnames of a current top leadership (e.g., founder/CEO) of any of the three companies, spelled exactly as in real life.
- A clearly visible, accurate, unaltered official logo for Polymarket, Kalshi, or Myriad.
Resolves “No” if none of the above occurs.
Resolution Details:
- Parodies, altered/spoofed names (e.g., “Poly-marketz,” “Kalchee,” “Myriads”), generic terms (“prediction market(s)”, “betting site”), or indistinct/blurred props that are not plainly legible will not trigger a “Yes” resolution.
- If a surname appears but could refer to multiple public figures, in that case, it must be contextually tied to one of the three companies (e.g., paired with “at Kalshi” or shown alongside the company name/logo) or with prediction markets broadly to resolve “Yes.”
- Only the episode itself (including its credits) counts towards the resolution of this market. References only found in promos, trailers, social posts, recaps/previews, post-episode talk shows, or off-screen mentions reported by third parties without on-episode evidence are not subject to this market.
Resolution Source:
- This market will be resolved based on Season 27, Episode 5 of Southpark
- Supporting materials may include official captions/subtitles and high-quality, time-stamped recordings/screenshots from the episode.
- Resolution requires clear, reviewable evidence (timestamp within the episode and what was said/shown).
Cancelation (Invalidity) Conditions:
This market will be canceled/invalid if:
- Season 27, Episode 5 of Southpark is canceled, postponed indefinitely, or significantly delayed
- Any circumstance makes it impossible to determine the outcome definitively
In the event of cancelation, participants may claim their stakes at the market value of their open positions at the time of cancelation. This could result in a profit or a loss, depending on the price of their outstanding shares.
