Bird migration is heating up. Will more birds cross over Texas on Sunday night (August 17) than on Saturday night (August 16)?

Market Dates:

• Market Close: August 18, 2025, at 1:00 AM UTC, approximately when the sun is scheduled to set in Texas
• Resolution Time: The resolution will be determined after the resolution source has uploaded the full data for the night of August 17, 2025

Resolution Criteria:

• Resolves to "Yes" if strictly more birds fly over Texas from sunset on August 17 until sunrise on August 18, compared to the previous sunset-to-sunrise period (August 16 - August 17)
• Resolves to "No" if equal to or fewer birds cross over Texas from sunset on August 17 until sunrise on August 18, compared to the previous sunset-to-sunrise period (August 16 - August 17)

Resolution Details:

• The market will resolve exclusively based on data from BirdCast for Texas for the period from sunset until sunrise
• Live data posted on the website covering periods from midnight until sunrise won't count towards resolution

Cancelation (Invalidity) Conditions:

This market will be canceled/invalid if:

• The resolution source is compromised or unavailable at resolution time
• Any circumstance makes it impossible to determine the outcome definitively
• The resolution source doesn’t upload the resolution data

In the event of cancelation, participants may claim their stakes at the market value of their open positions at the time of cancelation. This could result in a profit or a loss, depending on the price of their outstanding shares.
