Market dates:
- Market Period: From the publication date through September 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM UTC
- Market Close: September 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM UTC, when the FED is expected to announce its decision
- Resolution Deadline: The resolution will be determined after Market Close, or earlier if the outcome is reached
Resolution criteria:
- Resolves to the category into which the FED decision falls. For example, if the FED decides to keep rates the same, this market will resolve to “No change.”
Resolution details:
- This market will resolve based on the official FOMC’s statement after its meeting scheduled for September 16-17, 2025
- An emergency rate lowering or hiking would also trigger a resolution if it occurs during the Market Period
Cancelation (Invalidity) Conditions
This market will be canceled/invalid if:
- The resolution source is suspended, becomes unreliable or experiences significant disruptions during the market period
- Any circumstance prevents reliable tracking during the Market Period
- The FED meeting scheduled for September 16-17, 2025 is canceled or postponed indefinitely
