Market Dates:

• Market Period: From the publication date until July 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC.
• Market Close: July 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM UTC.
• Resolution Deadline: After the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final has officially concluded and the final player goal statistics have been published or before if the outcome is determined.

Resolution Criteria:

• Resolves to “Messi” if Lionel Messi scores more goals than Cristiano Ronaldo during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
• Resolves to “Ronaldo” if Cristiano Ronaldo scores more goals than Lionel Messi during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
• If both players score the same number of goals, the following tie-breakers will be applied in order:
  • The player with more assists during the FIFA World Cup 2026 main tournament.
  • If still tied, the player with fewer goals scored from penalty kicks.
  • If still tied, the player whose national team advances to the furthest stage of the tournament.
  • If a tie still persists after applying all tie-breakers, the market resolves 50-50.

Resolution Details:

• Only goals scored during the FIFA World Cup 2026 main tournament count including Group Stage, Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Third Place Playoff, and Final.
• Goals scored during extra time count.
• Goals scored in penalty shootouts do not count.
• Own goals are not credited to either player.
• If one player withdraws or does not play in the tournament for any reason, the market resolves in favor of the opposing player.
• The final result will be determined using the official player statistics published by FIFA.

Cancellation Conditions:

• The FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament is cancelled before resolution.
• Official player statistics are not available or the resolution source becomes unavailable or unreliable.

If cancelled, participants may claim their stakes at the market value of their open positions at cancellation time, which could result in either profit or loss based on the share price.
